“Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about
originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply
try to tell the truth, you will, nine times out of ten,
become original without ever having noticed it.”

C.S. Lewis

ABOUT

I'm Daniela Cuadra, a Chilean visual artist and graphic designer, in love with drawing for as long as I can remember. Portrait and the human figure are my deep passion.

I draw people to rediscover them through their skin, to go beyond it and find their identity underneath. Each drawing is a distinct experience and the result of a dialogue between the emotions of the portrayed and my own.

I arrived almost 2 years ago with my family and live temporarily in Rapa Nui. This island has given me the silence I didn't have in the city: less noise, more nature, more time to observe.
